Brian Smith is an artist who creates bold, hauntingly psychedelic visual
statements. Influenced by the likes of Giger and Beksinski, his work
falls somewhere between that of Chet Zar and Alex Grey. Organic expressions
of the human form meld through altered states with alien landscapes.
Dark and beautifully surreal, Brian Smith's work is deep in a cosmic sense.
Grounded firmly in the familiar and in the tradition of great visionaries,
his paintings tell stories of other worlds and other states of consciousness.
